Venue

The fifth International Conference on Energy-Aware High-Performance Computing is organized by Wolfgang Nagel — head of the Center for Information Services and High Performance Computing (ZIH), and professor at the Faculty of Computer Science of the Technische Universität Dresden.

The conference will take place at the Faculty of Computer Science located at Nöthnitzer Straße 46, 01187 Dresden. The presentations will be in the lecture hall on the ground floor (room E023).

Technische Universität Dresden

The Technische Universität Dresden is one of Germany's largest universities with about 36,000 students. It offers 126 different academic disciplines and mainly focusses on engineering sciences. The main campus is located in the Suedvorstadt south of the city center.

Travel Information

The Faculty of Computer Science can be reached by tram line 3, station "Münchner Platz" or bus line 85, station "Helmholtzstraße".

Arrival by train

At Dresden main station take the tram "3 Coschütz", get off the car at the stop "Münchner Platz", walk "Georg Schumann Straße" up to "Nöthnitzer Straße" (~400m).

Arrival by plane

From Dresden airport, take the S2 train from the underground terminal to Dresden main station. From there take tram line 3 as described above.

Arrival by car

Leave the motorway A4 at "Dreieck Dresden-West" (interchange 77b) and take the motorway A17 towards Prague. Leave the motorway at "Dresden-Südvorstadt" (interchange 3) and follow the B170 into Dresden. At the sign "Plauen" turn left onto "Nöthnitzer Straße". You find the Faculty building on the left side.
